About PTL Hardwoods

Hi, my name is Joshua Crossman and I would like to take a moment to tell you about my company.

I started out in the hardwood flooring trade in 1999, at the young age of 20.  In 2004, I started P.T.L. Hardwoods because I saw a need for a hardwood floor company that would stand for honesty, integrity, value, and quality.  One that gives you valuable information that would help you make a good choice in your floor covering decision.

I also wanted to work in a less stress environment.  One that is a pleasure to go to work to.  That respects a good work ethic, a focus on quality, and a fun place to be at.  This provides a better attitude for employees which in turn provides a better service for you.

I soon saw the need for more education, if I wanted to provide the best quality product and service.  I became a member of the National Wood Flooring Association, which dictates the standards and guidelines for hardwood flooring.  They offer hands on educational classes to train professionals in how to properly work with hardwood flooring.

I have attended many of their classes and have earned a Craftsman Degree.  I also went through a rigorous testing program to become a NWFA Certified Professional Installer, Sand and Finisher.  NWFA Certified status is the industry mark of excellence and professional credibility.

In conclusion I love what I get to do.  I love helping making your home more enjoyable and beautiful.  I love working with a high quality product that you can live on for many, many years to come.
