Traditional hardwood floor sanding is typically an extremely dusty process--a dust-storm in your home, lingering dust in your air-ducts, and a clean-up headache that feels like it will never end.

But there is a cleaner, healthier and faster process with the P.T.L. Hardwoods Dust Containment System.

If you choose to invest in our 100% Dust Free Refinishing System we guarantee there will be absolutely no visible dust left behind from our sanding in your home.

We accomplish this with the following three stages:

• The first stage is by using high quality plastic and non-marking paint grade tape to seal off all areas outside of the “sanding zone”.
• The second stage is by using our Industrial Dust Containment System that is connected to all of our equipment. This cuts down 99.5% of any air-born dust during the sanding process. All dust is removed through hoses to a large sealed drum that is set-up outside or in another safe, appropriate area. We vacuum your floors and any surfaces a minimum of 4 times throughout our refinishing process to prevent any contamination to the finishes.
• The third stage is prior to the last coat, absolutely everything is vacuumed and thoroughly wiped down
